Great Stay

Good for the Price

Hotel is in very good location. The staffs were very nice and helpful. Rear deck was nice and quite. First room that we got was in very poor condition, ceiling was peeling off and leaking. Carpet was wet and damped. Wireless Internet is not available in the rooms as it advertised. You have to go to lobby area to get a good signal for Internet. Overall hotel was good for the price. Older hotel in badly in need of an update. Location was nice but one window would not open or the other would not stay open. Bathroom ceiling was leaking. Date of visit: March, 2007

Businesses with Misleading Advertisements

I know that this review will be swept under the ocean. My wife and I were recently at the San Juan Beach Hotel for our anniversary. We visit at least twice a year. We are frequent visitors for both business and pleasure. My wife and her family are from the island and we love being there as much as possible. Our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The bar lounge area was closed for renovations, the room had no clock radio, no CD player, no coffee maker, no bath mat and only one towel. This was far from acceptable but we were unable to make other arrangements due to no vacancies at several other locations. We made the best of a bad situation because there was nothing else we could do. The San Juan Beach Hotel has misleading ads and pictures on there web site and they did not provide amenities advertised. We were giving no comps and cold apologies for services we never received and paid for in advance with no problem. We were not told by hotel staff of any of the problems they were having in advance. Vacation

The staff was great, answered any request we made, gave us ideas as to restaurants to eat at. The room was large, clean. We will return. Located within walking distance to casinos. Date of visit: 12/28/2003
