Why I Love Traveling Puerto Rico with My Kids
I grew up in Puerto Rico, so places like El Morro and the island's beaches were already part of my childhood. But years later, bringing my own children back was like discovering them all over again. I watched them stare in amazement at the massive stone walls of El Morro, laugh as they chased waves along the shoreline, and ask endless questions about the history, wildlife, and culture around them. Their curiosity reminded me that wonder isn't about seeing someplace for the first time—it's about seeing it with fresh eyes. Those moments remain some of my most treasured memories and are a big part of why I encourage families to explore Puerto Rico together.
