The main building was constructed in 1929 and originally called the American Hotel. It was built on the shores of Ensenada Bay and in the past, high executives from the sugar industry used to stay at the hotel. Today, Parador Guánica 1929 is the first School Hotel of Puerto Rico where you will share pleasant memories with the future hotel professionals of AAFET. The hotel was restored to its original condition and its 27 rooms are exquisitely decorated with Air Conditioning, Cable TV and a private bath. There are two swimming pools, a wonderful vista to the bay, a basketball court and leisure areas. The restaurant serves exquisite local and international dishes and exotic tropical beverages.
